Beatie Wolfe John
A ONCE in a LIFE TIME experience. A must listen and watch Event. Come ONE come ALL. Ms. Beatie Wolfe is coming to us from across the POND to share her music and BEING, with all of us.
British Singer Songwriter Beatie Wolfe (“Captivating” Wynton Marsalis) returns to picturesque Villa Jenkins House Concerts on August 22nd
Beatie Wolfe has been hailed as the definition of a 21st century artist with a truly classic sound, described as “Brilliant” by GQ, “Exceptional” The New Yorker and “Profound” by The Times.
Beatie started writing songs age 8 and performed her first composition at a school concert with Mick Jagger in the audience. With echoes of Leonard Cohen throughout her songs – described by GQ as “beautiful melodies which envelop the listener as she delicately describes the poetry and tragedy of relationships” – and a voice which her musical mentor Wynton Marsalis calls “simply captivating,” Beatie Wolfe is a MUST see singer songwriter.
Beyond being a great musician, Beatie’s career has taken her from being the artist who pioneered the ‘World’s First’ 3D Interactive Album App for her album 8ight – which led to a world tour with Apple – to Official British Ambassador for Creativity. While also being PopJam’s star musician with an audience of half a million children (where Beatie created her charity project/single ‘Kids Wish for the World’) to Musical Director of a “Groundbreaking” (The Independent) new research project looking at the Power of Music for people living with dementia.
Beatie’s music has been described as “Brilliant” GQ, “Beautiful” Monocle, “Revolutionary” MTV, “Fantastic” BBC, “Profound” The Times, “Exceptional” The New Yorker and “Innovative” WIRED.
