As the end of 2002 nears and end, I want to wish all of
you out there that take the time to read my newsletter and
Pay it Forward to have a safe and happy holiday. You all
know I love to use quotes and this is one of my favorites.

This quote came to me the day after
my new grandson Christian Andrew Blake, DOB 12/5/02 came
into this world. He is healthy and under the care of a very
skilled homeopathic veterinarian ;O) who loves him more
with the passing of each of his tinny breaths. I witnessed
the miracle of his birth and heard his first cry. A miracle
is hard to describe but seeing him born, is the best way
to show what a miracle looks like. I am including a picture
in the form of a JPEG attachment for those of you who want
to see a real miracle up close and personal. It is of Christian
and my beautiful wife Charene when he was born.

I will be bring
you up to speed on a story about one of my patients which
I will get to towards the end of this news letter. First
of all we are going to talk about vaccinations. I know you
were hoping I wouldn't bring it up but since it is so prominent
in the news and the threat of mandatory vaccination has
never been more real than it is today. The Small pox vaccine
and Anthrax are just an excuse to make all children receive
11 vaccines in a polyvalent vaccine (all in one shot) repeated
over and over again until your child is a many years old.
Here is an excellent source
of information about how the Homeland Security Bill is being
used to promote mandatory vaccination and protect the drug
companies from being liable for any harm caused by
their vaccines. Go to this site and do your part to contact
you congressman to alert them to the most serious health
hazard this planet has ever seen. Vaccine

Dr. Mercola site gives you the facts and the link to your
state senators who are the ones voting for this type of
legislation. The more letters, email and phone calls they
get from their constituents the better the chance for preventing
this travesty from befalling the American people.
My good friend
and physician, Dr. Timothy Dooley, MD, ND has written and
excellent article in the homeopathic journal, Homeopathy
today on Asthma and vaccinations. In the November 2002 issue
of Homeopathy today, Dr. Dooley states that the incidence
of asthma in children is alarming. He points out that when
he was a child in southern California he only knew one child
with asthma and he lived in Texas. I have the same memory
of only knowing one person who had asthma in my childhood
in Yuma, Arizona. According to American Family Physician
journal, April 1, 2001, there are nearly 5 million children
in the U.S. affected with asthma. That is more that 5 percent
of the population of younger than 18 years (1 in 20). Between
1980 and 1994, the prevalence OA asthma in children 4 years
of age or younger jumped 160%. That is an increase of over
two-and-one-half times in just 14 years. This should make
all parents extremely worried about the fate of their children's
health.
The American
Family Physician article goes on to outline the contemporary
medical approach to asthma. In the protocols, alternative
medicine was never mentioned, only inhaled medications to
control the symptoms of the disease. All parents who have
their children on inhalant medications, owe to their children
to do a search on the side effects of the drugs on Google
by typing in the name of the drugs and researching the potential
dangers they may exposing their children to. This is an

Dr. Dooley goes
on to state that from his experience, he feels as I do that
the incidence of asthma is iatrogenic (physician-induced).
We believe doctors both M.D's and DVM's are unknowingly
causing asthma through their treatment of infants, young
children and animals respectively. We are not saying all
asthma is caused by doctors, but enough to account for the
increasing incidence of this disease.
We feel the medical
treatment that are suspect in causing asthma (as well as
other illnesses that are increasing in frequency)
are an overly aggressive immunization schedule and excessive
us of antibiotics in the very young. Here is an excellent

Both Dr. Dooley and
I have had good success treating asthma in children and
animals respectively with homeopathy and good nutrition.
We both recommend the stopping of the use of vaccines and

One last but not least
important bit of news you should all be most concerned about
is the ever mounting movement of the drug companies to take
away your freedom of choice as to what nutritional supplements
you can use in your lives. There is an excellent organization

which has been existence since 1955. They consist of a small
band of dedicated staff and unpaid board members who effectively
work to protect your health freedom. I would highly recommend
you join their organization and support their steadfast
David and Goliath efforts for protecting us from loosing
any more of our freedoms to the pharmaceutical cartel. Here

The
National Health Federation : Codex letting us
know what the World Health Organization and United Nations
are doing to support more controls on the world's freedom
of choice in choices of vitamin, minerals, herbs, etc. See
how you can stop the eroding of our freedoms with letters
and supporting this wonderful organization. Make a difference
now because reversing laws is much harder than stopping
them from passing. The Power of One is mighty and we owe
it to our children and their children to do something now
before it is too late.
Now that I have given
you your homework, lets talk about some interesting findings
I have discovered over the past year. First of all I have
found that there is a body of research at BYU where
they have been conducting studies using essential oils and
studying the kill rate on specific cancer cell in vitro
(in the laboratory not in the patient). They found Frankincense,
Sandalwood and Balsam all had from 70+ to 90+ kill rates
against cervical, breast and mammary cancer cells. The beauty
of these oils is they have no side effects and either help
or do no harm. I have been making a blend of 10 drops of
each in a one ounce glass dropper bottle and mixing 3/4
spring water and 1/4 ounce Vodka. I massage this into the
tumor two to three times per day. Young

Release essential oil blend to be applied over the tumor
and on top of the head of my patients to help their body

I also
recommend putting them on bovine colostrum at a dose of
1/3 tsp. per 25 pounds of body weight once per day to help

Hormone
replacement therapy has long been a concern of mine and
I have been a strong advocate to stop the use of it due

A
happy story about hormone replacement and bovine colostrum
is what this next paragraph is all about. My client and
friend recently shared this amazing experience she had with
my favorite supplement ;O) She had been on a compound form
of estrogen replacement due to severe hormone imbalance
which had made her life miserable. The HRT had made a great
difference in her life. She had decided to start taking
colostrum months ago when I had started her canine buddies
on it for their chronic health issues. After a month she
started feeling her hormone imbalance symptoms returning.
She went
to her physician and had a blood test done to determine
her estrogen hormone levels. They were over 700 instead
of in the normal 200 range they had been on the HRT. She
stopped the HRT and notices she was feeling better than
ever. She then felt nervous about just going cold turkey
so she started the HRT at a 1/4 dose very 4 days to see
what her body would do. She got sick again and decided to
stop HRT completely in September of this year. She has never
looked back and feels better than ever.
My feeling
is that her low estrogen hormone level was do to a deficiency
of one of the micronutrients in the colostrum that was preventing
her from producing her own estrogen at a homeostatic level.
I could see her smiling through the phone when she shared
this miracle with me and that is what caring for people
is all about.
As I promised
at the beginning of the newsletter, I would share one of
my The Pet Whisperer™ stories with all my fellow crusaders,
which has grown from less than a hundred one year ago to

This is
a story about a Roti named Raider, who is truly a gentle
giant among canines. When I first got the call, his caregiver
Jim was very worried about his buddy because he was rapidly
becoming paralyzed in his rear legs and he feared for the
worse. He lived many hours north of San Diego but was more
than willing to drive his friend down for me to see him.
I knew from the symptoms that he didn't have much time before
he would become totally paralyzed.
It was
June of this year on a typical sunny San Diego day that
I saw Raider for the first time. His caregiver Jim gently
helped him out of his SUV and placed him upon the ground.
He is a huge male Roti who struggled to walk up my side
walk to reach my front porch office. I could see in his
eyes that he was not in pain but using all his will to get
one foot in front of the other. He greeted me with a look
of who are you? He then settled down to listen to what I
had to say. As I examined him I could feel the raw power
that once cursed through his body and knew that in his prime
he was a force to be reckoned with. I told him I appreciated
him treating me kindly because with a mouth big enough to
hold my head in, you definitely want to be his friend:O)
After I finished
his acupuncture treatment, he looked up at me and gave me
a look that could only be that of pure unconditional love.
I knew he had it in him to improve but as I told Jim, at
this point I would be happy if in four weeks he wasn't any
worse. He agreed and thanked me for my kind understanding
and care for his buddy.
Raider lifted
himself with great effort and ambled back to his truck side
by side with Jim. As I was putting my computer and medical
bag away, I looked up and saw that he had stopped and had
turned around. For just a brief moment I felt his eyes penetrate
me and I felt him say, "Thanks for caring and I will
be back!"
As they
drove away I was struck with the love between Jim and Raider.
Each of them would do anything to help the other and I knew
that Raider would give his life to save Jim if the need
ever arouse.
The
weeks went by and I didn't hear anything from my two new
friends. On the day that they were to return, I prayed that
Raider would still be with us and come back stronger than
ever. As I was setting up my computer, I heard a truck coming
down my street and looked up to see who was coming. I was
greeted with a smile on the drivers face and massive head
peaking out of the back seat. He was back and from the look
of the two of them we were going to have a great day.
Jim explained that he was doing better and that he had stopped
deteriorating as he had done prior to our first visit. I
had to contain myself from jumping up and down, so that
I looked somewhat professional in my manner ;O) This time
Raider was more energetic and couldn't wait to get his cheese
treat from me. The session went well and I felt our chances
of keeping him with us had improved more than I had hoped.
As they ambled down the walk I noticed how much they both
watched over each other to make sure the other was OK. The
gentle way Jim picked up his friend and helped him into
the truck was so special and full of caring. If only the
people of the world could be so caring about each other
as these two friends were, there would be NO wars, ONLY
peace. As I have always said "Animals should rule the
world and then there would be PEACE!"
It has been 5 months now and I saw the boys last week for
the last time before 2003. When they arrived I could tell
they had a lot to tell me about. Raider was in front this
time and Jim was bringing up the rear. When I greeted him,
he gave me a big slobbery lick (Raider not Jim ;O). The
session was the best yet. His eyes, skin, coat, attitude
and strength were the best I had seen.
When I mentioned
the fact he was still weak in the hind legs, Jim interrupted
me to tell me what his buddy had done since our last visit.
"Doc, Raider jumped up on his hind legs for the first
time in over a year and barked at someone coming by the
fence." This is how he used to be before he started
failing. He also jumped up on his canine Igloo, which he
hadn't done in so long, Jim couldn't remember the last time.
As Jim told the story Raider was beaming from ear to ear
about being such a hot shot.
When said "Time
to get up big guy, Jim piped in, which one of the big guys
to want to jump up?" Jim is large man as Raider is
a very large dog, so we all got a big laugh out of the comment
and they both got up.
I wished
them a happy holiday and watched them drive off on their
long journey north. As he drove by I could see Raider peering
out the window and I could swear he winked at me and said
"You are pretty good for not being a dog!" This
was about as good a compliment as anyone could give this
old doc and I thanked him for letting me care for him. I
will keep you posted on the Hulk s he moves along his journey
with me.
I want to thank
