July 2003

I want to thank all of those who have
ordered my book and for the kind words about my stories
of my friends the animals. Yes, it finally has happened,
my book is in the warehouse as of last week and ready for
any one to order it on line at my new website www.thepetwhisperer.com.
I will be signing my book at the Burbank
Seminar Holistic Pet Conference Burbank August 17.
You can call 888-551-0416 for more information about the
lecture and my book signing or go to http://www.animalessentials.org/events.html
Joan Holden of Merritt Naturals is there to help you with
your questions.
I also would like to thank all
of my readers who have visited my new website that went
on line July 1, 2003. We are getting 80 hits a day and the
site is in its early stages of development. The site is
set up for you to order colostrum, my book, aromatherapy,
Flint River Ranch cat and dog foods, my son Sean's art work
on wild life and my newest find THE MASSAGE STONE.
This is an incredible massage
tool that I discovered on my travels to Lake Tahoe. It is
the most unusual massage instrument that you can heat or
chill in minutes for warm and cold massages on humans and
animals. You can also use the essential oils on it and it
lasts for ever. To learn more about it you can go to my
website and check the site on the Massage Stone.
Remember this famous quote, " No one ever died of a
massage." Dr. Blake
That is it for commercials, I promise:O)
After you read through the rest of the newsletter, I have
finished the newsletter with one of my stories on one of
my animal heroes that you have never read before.
Mystery deaths in our troops in Iraq.
The US Army has posted news
releases that many soldiers have been dying from pneumonia
that is not responding to antibiotics. They have eliminated
SARS, and every other infectious agent and cannot find a
reason for their deaths.
After reading the symptoms they were
describing, I realized it fit the symptoms that were written
in Herings Guiding Symptoms of the homeopathic remedy Thuja.
in the 1800s. He mentions asthma, mucous filled lungs, choking,
spasmodic coughing, worse lying down, difficult breathing,
and wheezing. I have seen all these symptoms in animals
after vaccination and Thuja is one of the premier homeopathic
remedies for treating vaccine induced dis-ease.
It is no wonder these poor
young men and women are dying. They are being injected with
anthrax, small pox, drugs, stress and a myriad of other
vaccines. You can learn more about the problem
with vaccinations at this new website I recently found.
Vaccination
Liberation Information
The one quote I particular
love to share with all that wish to learn more about the
truth about vaccinations is;
"Up to 90% of the total decline in the death rate of
children between 1860-1965 because of whooping cough, scarlet
fever, diphtheria, and measles occurred before the introduction
of immunizations and antibiotics." ---Dr. Archie Kalokerinos,
M.D.
I would also like all that wish
to do so, to say a prayer for the family of Rachael
Lacy of Lynwood, Ill., a nursing student and combat medic
with the 452nd Combat Support Hospital at Fort McCoy in
Milwaukee. She died with in 4 weeks after being vaccinated
for 5 different vaccinations on March 2, 2003. You can learn
more about this sad story that should be shared with as
many people as you can get to read it. Army

For those of you out there
that are still thinking small pox vaccine is safe and necessary,
read the following information I copied from Small
Pox: How Bad Is It - - - Really? Smallpox Vaccine is
being promoted as a "must" for the entire population,
since "there is no treatment for smallpox." However,
many experts believe the smallpox vaccine has severe health
risks.
"The smallpox vaccine is the most reactive (disease
causing) vaccine that we have ever used," said Barbara
Loe Fisher, spokeswoman for the National Vaccine Information
Center. "I do know that brain complications occurred
within one to six weeks of the original smallpox vaccination,
most frequently after the first dose, and that the reaction
rate was between 1 in 159 and 1 in every 6,500 vaccinated
persons."
According to Fisher, vaccination-related brain complications
were most common in children under 2 years of age, and 50
percent of those children who developed the complications
died from them. She also said 35 percent of adults who developed
brain complications from the smallpox vaccine also died.
One more thing on vaccines and
I promise I will move on to another topic :O) A fact many
people do not know is that the CDC (center for disease control
and prevention) and the vaccine manufactures have close
relations (PG. rating of course). The CDC's Vaccine Advisory
Committee gets funding from the vaccine companies
and with 6 to 10 billion dollars plus to be made, there
is a lot of incentive to promote vaccines in this country.

My feeling is that within the next five years, annual vaccines
will be a thing of the past. I also feel that you will find
alternative medical care in more and more human and animal
hospitals.
Scientists are not certain that sunscreen prevents
the deadliest type of skin cancer, melanoma.
Scientists are now saying there is no proof
that using sun tan lotion prevents melanoma, the most malignant
form of skin cancer. To learn more go to Slathering
on Sunscreen Does Not Prevent Cancer 8/2/03 .
I have found that by taking bovine colostrum
and mixing the essential oil lavender www.thepetwhisperer.com
into my sun tan lotion that I have no problem with sun burn.
If I forget and do get a burn, I spray on the lavender and
get immediate relief without peeling or blistering.
I have also found that by using a mixture
of Frankincense, Sandalwood and Balsam fir (10 drops of
each in a one ounce glass bottle with almond oil or water
and vodka 3/4 to 1/4 mixture) will help remove scars, growths
of all types and help in the control of cancer in dogs.
To learn more about these oils go to my website under aromatherapy
and learn more.
After all these years they have decided to test
on people instead of animals..:O)
Guess what the hottest thing in the
world of science is this month. Let us test pesticides
on humans to make sure they are safe. The EPA and FDA have
decided this is the only way to market them safely.
Now this is the most insane
idea and should rank number one on this years Darwin Award
list for 2003. I want to know who is stupid enough to volunteer.
My vote is for the CEO's, scientist (I use this word loosely)
who make these toxins and anyone who markets them to step
up the plate and be tested. Of course we would have to have
an unbiased review board to evaluate our statistics. As
you all know Mark Twain said it best about statistics "
There are three types of lies; "Lies, Damn lies and
Statistics.!". :O)
I have found that best thing you
can do for pesticide toxicity and prevention is the following;
avoid any chemicals around your home, in your car, yard
or topcially ie flea, ants, etc. ; if you or your animal
gets it on them, wash it off immediately and repeat bathing
until there is no odor; take the Bach Flower Crabapple at
dose of 2 drops per 8 ounces of water and sip on it through
out the day; Common Juniper and Rye grain are excellent
gemmotherapies for helping detox liver, kidney and skin.
You can learn more about these on my website.

Fleas :O(((
Do you see red when you hear the
word fleas? I can see why you would, since this is the worst
year in 30 years of practice that I have seen for dealing
with fleas. Those of you who know me are probably asking
yourselves why would Dr. Blake comment on this being the
worse year for fleas. He always say that a strong immune
system takes care of the flea problem because fleas stay
clear of healthy animals.
The reason is because I believe
the fleas have gone insane! What the heck is Dr. Blake talking
about??? I am saying that the fleas have gone insane and
do not care whether an animal is healthy or sick. How can
this be?
Over the past 30 years, I
have seen dogs and cats become insane after being vaccinated
for rabies or from application of pesticides to their bodies.
The fact that we have been using drugs that are neurotoxins
on the flea population for the past 6 years is a good starting
point.
They are now becoming immune
to Advantage, Front-line, etc., and are stronger than ever.
The difference is that they think they are Super fleas and
after millions of years they have evolved into just that
with the help of man. They have done the same thing the
Super Bacteria has done with the over use of antibiotics.
In my June 2003 newsletter
I listed many essential oil combinations you can use to
help repel the fleas and many other pests. I mix one drop
of each oil in one ounce of water and spray on one to two
times per day as needed.
Your main goal in preventing fleas is by following Dr.
Blake's ABC's to natural health.
A. Most of you do this but avoiding toxic food, using filtered
water, over vaccinations, drugs and chemicals.
B. Build up the systems of the body that are weakened. As
you all know how much I love bovine colostrum because of
how much it helped my life and that of my patients. I recommend
1/3 tsp. per 25 pounds of body wt each day to help strengthen
digestive and immune systems.
C. Cleansing of all systems that have become toxic. The
main three areas I concentrate on are the liver, kidney
and skin. I recommend Common Juniper (gemmotherapy) and
Livaplex and Hepatrophin (Standard process nutritional supplements);
kidney detox Common Juniper and Renafood (standard process).
For skin I recommend Rye Grain and Black Currant (gemmotherapy)
. There are many, many detoxing regiments but these are
the ones that I have found to be very easy to use and safe.

My Hero Meister :O) copywrite protected
It seems like only yesterday that
I saw my new friend come bounding up to me. It was 1998
and I had the pleasure of being called to care for a 5 month
old Dachshund named Meister. As soon as he saw me, he came
running at me as quickly as his little legs could carry
him. He made his way with all his might and could barely
get up the stairs. As soon as I saw him, I knew he had genetic
and acquired problems that would shorten his life if we
didn't help him now before it would be too late.
When I picked him up he started
licking my face and kissed me all over. He put his head
next to my ear and could feel him saying I love you Doc.
For those of you who experienced this amazing exchange of
unconditional love, you know exactly what I am talking about.
Over the next couple of years
we had our ups and downs but over all he was healthy as
he could be. It wasn't until February of this year that
the phone call I had feared might come became a reality.
It happened while I
was away from the city and my little friend became completely
paralyzed. His Mom and Dad had taken him a week before for
a fungal infection of his feet and was treated with an anti-fungal
medication. His feet had started improving but within days
he developed pain in his neck and before they new it he
was paralyzed in all for limbs. They rushed him to a neurologist
who after x-rays and a complete evaluation told them he
was going to die if they did not do surgery immediately.
They had determined that he had a herniated disc in neck.
They were also told that his liver was small and his prostate
gland was extremely swollen.
The surgeon had said that he was
a high risk for surgery but that was all they could do for
him. It was 11 PM at night and they were torn as to what
they should do.
As fate would have it his Mom and
Dad decided to wait until the next morning, knowing I was
returning to the city the that day. I got the phone call
early the next morning and immediately told them to get
to my office ASAP.
When they drove up, I went to greet them.
What I saw next made my heart very sad. He could only lift
his head as his Mom and Dad carried him on a large soft
pillow. He kept craning his neck trying to get a look at
me. I could see in his eyes he was panicked and was asking
for help.
After I finished examining him,
I began treating him immediately. I gave him acupuncture,
Conium 6C (homeopathic remedy), Giant Redwood for his prostate
and weakness, Mountain Pine for his spine, Lime tree for
the nerve damage and cyruta plus (standard process) to strengthen
the disc material. As soon as he had his full treatment,
he became more relaxed and I could tell he was not as fearful.
I had also noted that he had deep pain in all his feet,
which a good sign because it indicated he still had neurologic
connection between his brain and extremities. I also recommended
they massage Panaway and Valor into all the pads of his
feet. These are blends of essential oils www.thepetwhisperer.com
that are good for nerve damage and helping align the body
respectively. I had them do this twice per day on all his
feet.
As his Mom put him back in the
car, I leaned in to say good-bye and to tell him I would
see him a week. He looked up at me and I saw him wink at
me. The feeling I received from him, was "Doc I will
be back, "
I stood there watching them drive
away and felt that the wolf in the little dog suit was going
to fight with all its might to recovery.
Finally the week came to an end
and I waited anxiously on my front porch for his arrival.
What I was greeted with made my heart sore.
The car door opened and to my amazement,
Mr. Meister was trying to stand. I could not believe my
eyes and was besides myself to contain my emotions of extreme
joy.
When we reached the porch, his
Dad put his pillow down and with the greatest difficulty
he made his way toward me. It was not the walk of an athlete
but that of a wolf in a dog suit giving it his all to come
to me. When he got to me a big kiss was my reward and the
rest is history.
It has been 5 months since
he was paralyzed and he is back to playing Meister Ball
24/7. For those of you who are not aware of what Meister
Ball is all about, I will enlighten you.
It starts with Mr. M picking up
his tennis ball and climbing on to his favorite chair. He
then surveys the room for any two legged servants he feels
like beckoning his way. Once they arrive, he throws the
ball to them and then the fun begins.
You are instructed to throw the ball
against the wall so he can jump off the chair and catch
it mid air. It is quiet a site and he is a pro at it. If
he cannot find a servant he goes solo. He can throw the
ball from his perch, make it hit the wall and he will leap
like the wolf he is and catch it in mid air. Move over Agassi
you have a competitor to contend with.
Thank you all for listening
and paying it forward (sharing what you have learned with
at least three other people). Make today a great.
OAO,
Dr. Stephen Blake
PS. There is a good chance I will be on Animal Planet :O)
