After many months of being on sabbatical, Dr. Christian has returned to the web to share some of his deeper thoughts on

They have scared the public into injecting themselves with questionable chemicals to protect against a virus that is no more dangerous to the public than any
other virus we have seen in the past 50 years.

What are the Dogs saying to Dr. Blake about canine influenza?
Is Canine influenza fatal? Usually not. Most dogs diagnosed with canineinfluenza experience a mild form of the disease. They usually suffer
from a persistent cough that can last for as long as three weeks and may experience a yellowish nasal discharge.
What are the symptoms? The symptoms are very similar to kennel cough. The first indication is a cough that may last for as long as three
weeks in spite of treatment with antibiotics. According to an advisory issued by the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine,
“Most dogs have a soft, moist cough, while others have a dry cough similar to that induced by Bordetella bronchiseptica/parainfluenza virus infection.
Many dogs have purulent nasal discharge and a low-grade fever. The nasal discharge likely represents a secondary bacterial infection.
Eighty percent of dogs exposed to the virus develop some or all of the symptoms and 20% show no signs at all. The good news is that the mortality rate is extremely low.

"The important thing is that people not panic over this. Canine flu is a new disease, so there is a lot we don't know about it, but the mortality rate is very low,
and many dogs don't even get sick from it. It made a huge splash in the press because the molecular genetics part of the story established such a clear cross-species transmission
of an influenza virus-not because it is a new, deadly disease of dogs. The virulence of this virus has been greatly exaggerated by some."
Due to the rapid spread of this virus, it will probably pass through the general population long before the chemical companies can come up with a vaccine.
The last thing we need is another useless vaccine in the market place, doing more harm than good.
My recommendation is to keep your friend on clean water, natural food, no chemicals, do not over-vaccinate and no flea products. I have not had any of my patients
anywhere in the United States come down with this virus. All of my patients are on Bovine Colostrum and lactoferrin.

EPA PROPOSES CHEMICAL AND PESTICIDE TESTING ON ORPHANS & MENTALLY HANDICAPPED CHILDREN
Public comments are now being accepted by the EnvironmentalProtection Agency (EPA) on its newly proposed federal regulationregarding the testing of
chemicals and pesticides on human subjects.
Earlier this year, Congress had mandated the EPA create a rule that permanently bans chemical testing on pregnant women and children, but the EPA's
newly proposed rule puts industry profits ahead of children's welfare. The rule allows for government and industry scientists to treat children as
human guinea pigs in chemical experiments in the following situations:
- Children who "cannot be reasonably consulted," such as those that are mentally handicapped or orphaned newborns, may be studied. With permission from the institution or guardian in charge of the individual, the child may be studied.
- Parental consent forms are not necessary for studies with children who have been neglected or abused.
- Chemical studies on any children outside of the U.S. are acceptable.

What the birds are telling Dr Blake about how to get alternative medicine taught in our Veterinary Schools?
First of all the balance of power is always based on Economics 101's Supply and Demand theory. NO DEMAND, NO VACCINES and DRUGS.. MORE DEMAND, MORE VACCINES and DRUGS.
It is a very simple principle. We need to get the pet caregivers of the world to say NO to over vaccination and drugs and the veterinary community will follow.
How do we do that? The idea I have had for many years is that we get a holistic veterinarian on OPRAH and get her all steamed up about holistic care
and the dangers of vaccines and off we go.
How do we get on OPRAH with our message? We get an email campaign of all the pet caregivers who have had positive experiences with their holistic veterinarian
and a little story of the negative side about drugs and vaccines. We give them the topic and the email address

and see if we can get someone like me on the show so we can get OPRAH's following to do the pushing on the veterinary community.
How does this help our cause? When all her listeners start calling their veterinarians and asking for alternative veterinary care, they will be told they do not
have the services they are requesting. The veterinarian will search and find there are no alternative veterinarians coming out of veterinary schools anywhere in the United States.
This in turn will put pressure on the Veterinary Schools to provide training in these areas so the demand will be provided for.
If we all work together on this project, we can make it happen and see the paradigm shift in our life time. In my book The Pet Whisperer, I wrote that my dream was that alternative veterinary medicine
