How do you deal with itchy dogs naturally?

Excessive itching in dogs is very common and can be helped with essential oils, colostrum and gemmotherapy.

Avoiding vaccines, drugs, chemicals and poor diets can help reduce the excessive itching and skin issues. I recommend avoiding all of these.

I recommend using essential oils to help the body rid itself of toxins which have accumulated in their bodies in their lifetime. Washing you dog’s feet after taking them on a walk in areas where neighbors or municipalities may have sprayed herbicides or pesticides, will help reduce the toxic load on their emunctory organs. I also recommend applying a few drops of diluted Frankincense on their pads when they are going into areas where there is a concentration of dogs to help reduce their exposure to infectious materials.

I have found the use of Juniper oil to be helpful in supporting the liver and kidneys. I recommend rubbing a few drops into each ear or on the pads of the rear feet once per day for six weeks and then weekly thereafter to assist these two organs in eliminating toxins.

I have also found lavender oil to be soothing to the skin and reducing the extreme itching. I put a few drops in two ounces of water and spritz on the skin as needed for helping reduce the itching and self mutilation that often comes with this situation. I also recommend the use of the blend Purification diffused into the room where the dogs sleep, to help with the purification process.

You can also mix a few drops of frankincense and lavender into organic coconut oil and massage into any hotspots that are very itchy for the dog to help her or him more comfortable. Consuming this combination, or any of the Young Living oils, are safe and helpful to the body in its healing process.
