FRESH FROM THE OVEN TO YOUR DOOR
Flint River Ranch Super Premium All-Natural Formula is slowly TWICE OVEN-BAKED
under carefully controlled conditions and proper temperatures. This unique baking process changes the hard-to-digest molecules of "raw" starches
into easy-to-digest dextrines. This process acts as a "pre-digest" of the kibble food, resulting in less strain on the dog's digestive system and
allowing a greater degree of food absorption. A dog's intestinal tract is short; it functions in the most efficient manner when the food is
concentrated and can be quickly digested. The important vitamins, minerals and food ingredients can then be easily assimilated into the dog's digestive system.

What to consider when choosing a diet for your
pet
When selecting a diet for your pets, remember that no one
diet is going to satisfy all of the needs of every pet.
I recommend you try different approaches to diet depending
on the response of your pet to the food you are feeding.
No Artificial Colors or Flavors.
No By-Products.
No Chemical Preservatives.
No Ethoxyquin, BHA or BHT.
No Liver unless you know it comes from an organic human
source
When selecting a diet it should not contain by-products,
corn, cottonseed, corncobs, citrus pulp, soy beans, fillers
or other foreign materials such as noxious weeds, straw,
hulls or chaff.
Most brands of dog food include some of these by-products
and chemical preservatives. The use of low quality products
and chemical preservatives may be associated with dry skin,
allergic reactions, dental disease, poor health and degenerative
organ dysfunction. The average dog (44 pounds ) can consume
26 pounds of preservatives each year. I recommend using
the following commercial diet prepared by Flint River Ranch Dry Dog
and Cat Foods http://www.frrco.com/5003.
I do not recommend any Senior diets and suggest you
add 3 to 6 ounces of high grade protein from eggs, cheese, cottage
cheese, meat, chicken or fish to each 6 ounces of dry kibble
to increase the amount of protein in the food you are feeding.
I recommend feeding once per day or a maximum of twice per
day depending on the health of the digestive system of the
pet. I also do not recommend free feeding. You should allow
the intestinal a period of rest between meals to allow for
repair and detoxification to take place. Fasting one day
a week is an excellent idea for your pet. The exception
would be a very debilitated animal who needs multiple feedings
because of their weakened condition.
